Swaim Associates Architects has been providing planning and architectural design services for public, commercial, and residential projects since 1969. Through the years, our firm has grown and evolved to keep up with changing trends and technology. Along with client relationships, we have also established trust with local contractors, city employees, and other major players in the construction sector. This allows us to streamline projects and overcome common hurdles like permitting and public hearings.

Swaim Associates Architects Has a Lasting Local Legacy

Swaim Associates was founded by Robert Swaim, who launched the firm from his own home in 1969. Previously, he had been with an architectural firm that merged with another local firm to become one of the largest in Southern Arizona at the time. However, Bobwanted to bring more of his own passion and a personal approach to the industry, so he launched Swaim Associates Architects, and the firm slowly grew through the years. In the 1980s, Robert’s son Phil joined the firm along with Ed Marley and Mark Bollard, both of whom are still principals of the firm today.
