The Wrightson Ridge is an 800 student K-8 school located on a dynamic site. The school is designed to complement the design vocabulary of the Town of Sahuarita and takes advantage of the significant elevation change across the site to maximize views and stormwater management. The gymnasium and multipurpose building create a central spine, with courtyards on either side for the elementary and middle school students. All classrooms take advantage of natural light and programmed LED fixtures to enhance the learning environment. The two-story elementary classroom building offers covered exterior circulation and a strong connection to the adjacent playground with multi-age equipment and an artificial turf field. The competition sports fields were designed in conjunction with the Town of Sahuarita Parks Department and include sports lighting to accommodate evening use by local sports leagues.
